Stressed out? Try this relaxing ritual: Place some dried or fresh herbs in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Cover the herbs with boiling water. Cover your head with a towel and bend over the steaming bowl of herbs. Breathe. It's an intense form of aromatherapy, and the towel over your head is a good clue that you might need to be left alone.

You can use rosemary, chamomile, lavender blossoms, or even pine sprigs. Any of the herbs in the mint family are good. Tea bags and essential oils work well, too. A little essential oil goes a long way, though, and you might need to use several tea bags.
